Over Swedish Meatballs

I am an artist. I am comfortable calling myself that.

As I sit here eating my lunch, I can’t stop looking at “The Blue Girl”. It is a wonderful picture. It is not perfect yet, or at least it is not perfect to me yet. I am not ready to release her to the world because she is flawed in my eyes.

She is beautiful though.

I do plan to one day work on something different, but this is an obsession for me. Like I say with every piece, “I think that this is my best work to date”. Well, break is almost over. I will not put a date on release. I also am not sure that I can work on anything else until she is done. It will be worth the wait.

Quick Note: “The Blue Girl” progress

I think that my hatred is subsiding.

In fact I think that it is actually working out with “The Blue Girl”.

Right now I am slowly enjoying my sessions again. I now can’t wait to have a seat and put all the little touches on her that I feel like she needs.

I will be showing her soon. I have learned so much with this picture. The work that I do from now on will be enhanced with the work that I put into this one.

I am so encouraged.
